Dr. Mary Evelyn Tucker, who for many years collaborated with eco-theologian and Earth scholar Fr. Thomas Berry, will deliver the keynote address at Our Sacred Earth, Our Common Home: Reflection and Action on Laudato Si’.
This event, the second in a series devoted to the study and implementation of Pope Francis’s landmark encyclical on ecology, will take place Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Visitors Center of the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois.
Mary Evelyn Tucker, Ph.D., is senior lecturer and research scholar for the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale Divinity School.
After the keynote address, participants will take part in a series of hands-on breakout sessions, concluding with a feedback and takeaway session.
