On November 11, 2017, Mary Antona Ebo, FSM, Civil Rights legend and pioneer, passed away.

On Monday, November 20, 2107, her FSM sisters, her family, and a myriad of friends and colleagues gathered at St. Alphonsus Liguori (Rock) Church to celebrate her life and mourn her passing.

Archbishop Robert Carlson presided at her Mass of Farewell, with Bishops J. Terry Steib and Mark S. Rivituso concelebrating. Bishop Edward K. Braxton of the Belleville, Illinois, diocese also came to pay his respects but was unable stay for the mass.

For her many friends and colleagues who could not be present at her homegoing, and for others who would like to revisit, we commissioned a video that features the highlights of that remarkable day. Many thanks to Michael Coffman, Reflective Media Group, LLC, for this moving memorial.
